My client is a mixed ability academy school based in North Liverpool and has 50% A-C GCSE grades which represents a massive improvement over the last 3 years. The school has been through a number of management changes and has now got an extremely strong senior leadership team in place offering all the school’s teachers full support.

The school’s intake of pupils covers the vast range of different socio-economic circumstances. Therefore the school requires teachers that can teach struggling pupils as well as recognise top performers and ensure all achieve.

The position is offered on a temporary basis initially through to the end of the academic year where the post will be made permanent. The department is well staffed with another two teachers and a technician, with the department having some of the best equipment available. Ideally the successful candidate will be able to teach KS3, 4 and A-Level although applications will be considered you have no A-Level experience. The position would also suit someone who is looking to take the next step in their career as there will be an opportunity to move in to a departmental role.
